Beauty and Denise are two very different women. Jackie is a beautiful and successful model at her peak; Denise is a plain, wisecracking cop. Jackie witnesses the killing of an important White House aide, and is pursued by the killer. Seeking sanctuary with the police, Denise is assigned to watch over her. Denise discovers Jackie's boyfriend knows that the killers were looking for an unpublished book containing the aide's memoirs, a description of his murder as well as descriptions of the two killers. When Denise begins her own quest to bring the murders to justice she is taken off the case-Jackie's protection is turned over to the FBI. When Jackie recognizes one of the FBI agents as one of the killers, Beauty and Denise are on the run and with no escape, not knowing whom they can trust.
